"Lights of Hay"
was shot, edited and produced by David Nicholson.
The song inspired David
to want to make a clip for it. Its been a labour of love by
him. Footage was shot at night on roads around Ararat and
Lake Bolac in western Victoria. A make shift studio was set
up in the foreshore boat shed and Dave filmed Neil sitting
in a Toyota Landcrusier.
Footage of a Neil Murray
and band live gig at the East Brunswick club in June 2007
was also used. Dave took all these elements and with some
computer animation, painstakingly put it together in his
back shed.
Tom Wills Would -
Play Now
"Tom Wills Would"
was shot, edited and produced by David Nicholson, whom I met
through the annual Lake Bolac Eel Festival and Healing Walk.
Dave is responsible for booking the acts, organising the Eel
Festival Concert and maintaining the Eel festival
website. He's also handy with a camera.
Most of the shoot was conducted in an abandoned blue stone
shed on the edge of town - to get that old world historical
feel. After all the song was inspired by a man who lived in
the 1860's.
